Mr. Fragile is at it Again…

jonas-jennings.pngThis really shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Jonas ‘Mr. Glass’ ‘Fragile’ Jennings is hurt again. The reports are that Jennings suffered a leg strain during practice today. The team is expected to re-evaluate his leg again on Thursday. (Source: Matthew Barrows) If Jennings can’t go, Adam Snyder will take his place on the starting line.

Ever since Jennings has been a 49er a stand-in for the leg lamp in  ‘A Christmas Story’, he has been hurt. Again this really comes as no surprise.

    cut him now

  2. Mike says:

you can’t just cut a guy b/c dont like him. when he is healthy.. granted that is a big when.. he does play well. and only a few weeks into the season you can’t just cut vets especially your oline b/c your not gonna find anyone really better on the free agent market.. especially if you want to trade Harris. b/c otherwise harris is gonna get more playing time. for rest of this year as a backup to both tackles. something i think no one wants to see.

  3. Ninaz says:

forget this im excited now that B. williams is gone, michael lewis is a 99 in KR in madden 08 and his speed is a 96, who cares if hes 35 if he moves like hes 20.

  4. Self Scientific says:

First Manny, then Vernon, and now Jonas. These next two weeks are huge. We really need this game to show the world who is boss in the NFC West. I think both games including the Seacocks and the Baltawhore ravens are winnable, we just need to eliminate mistakes and get Gore going. As long as the D plays as it has, we should be fine.

  5. samra says:

i think part of the inconsistensy on the line has been Larry Allen who i think is way too big for his age to do stuff that is required from a OGaurd nowadays i think if david baas starts at RG and Smiley at LG our run will improve if we can get more blockers upfeild Gore will benefit much and we could then rotate Allen around both G spots

  6. Self Scientific says:

We need someone to have a breakout game, be it Smith, Gore, or one of our wideouts. Who will it be, and when?

  7. samra says:

Here’s the NFLs officail explanation to Vernon Fumble on video

  8. mouse says:

After further review… That explanation sounds like pure BS.

  9. Self Scientific says:

We got screwed, it is in the past now. We need to play better this week so a call like that won’t hurt as bad. It is what it is.

  10. A True Niner Fan says:

I hope Jonas Jennings doesnt turn into the next Jeremy Newberry cause his injuries all the time are getting outta hand….I hope Nolan Makes his ass play cause last year Gore Ran all over the seahawks and we need our O-Line inTact to do it again this year….an Also I saw that explantion as well and it was bogus

  11. Medford says:

Jonas The Pretzel Jennings he hasnt lived up to the contract we gave him. ADAM MY SKULL IN THICK CAUSE U GOT TO BE KIDDING ME AND EVERY NINER FAN ON HERE WEN U SAY D. SMITH PLAYED A SOLID GAME IN ANY OF THE GAMES THIS SEASON CAUSE IT ISNT TRUE. ALL HE DOES IT LEAP IN THE AIR OVER BULGER UNDER THE BALL TO THE TIGHT END IN PITTSBURG GETTING BUFFED BY LEINART IF IT WASNT FOR WILLIS IN THE LINE UP HE WOULD BE BENCHED BY NOW BUT WILLIS KEEPS CLEANING UP HIS MESS OH YEAH I FORGOT ABOUT TWO HAND TOUCHING OF EDGERIN JAMES.
BASEBALL NOTE GOODBYE BARRY BONDS AND FU MARK ECKO I WILL BURN THE SHIRT I HAVE OF URS.

  12. Goldrusher49 says:

We need to get this thing in motion, I’m tired of having excuses for everything, like Nolan said “excuses are for losers”. The 9ers need to show the world this year that we are back and start kicking the shit out of people the way we should.

  13. Lowrance says:

Thanks for the link on VDs catch explaination.
To me it sounded like CYA. If a reciever cruises the sidelines, gets hit with the ball while one foot is down, causing the other foot to hit the ground, what the hell do you think the call would have been??? COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Adam says:

medford. D.smith has had solid games. There you go again mentioning bad plays> EVERYBODY HAS HAD BAD PLAYS. There’s another Adam on the board somewhere so 1 of us has to change our name.
