Well so much for avoiding the injury bug. Manny Lawson who was having a great season is on the shelf for the remainder of the year. Lawson injured his knee during Wednesday’s practice while covering tight end Billy Bajema on a pass along the sidelines.
“I heard a pop and I remember that was what CJ Brewer had talked about when he did his, so I was nervous,” said Lawson. “I tried to test it out but really I just had to wait on the MRI.” “I was really looking forward to doing big things this year for my team, but the hardest things is just knowing I won’t be able to be out there practicing and playing in games with the guys,” said Lawson. “But, things happen for a reason and I will be back.”

man i hate this for one he was getting off to a great start and now this……. i hope that in a way this will open up the door a another player to step up so we wont miss a beat but thats going to be hard to do. I would like to see B Moore take his spot but i dont think thats going to happen

Sons of a homo. I love this guy, he was getting off to a fast track. But we will prevail. Hopefully parys will step up and take advantage of the situation.
