Watching this again just reminds me that we really had a shot to win that game. That bogus call killed the drive and ruined the momentum we had.
at 1:22 that tackle on Vernon Davis is a horse collar wich results in a 15 yd penalty. Thus the refs were on pittsburgh’s side for not calling it and for screwing up the game with a shitty call!!!
oh and at 4:35 willie parker spikes the ball after being tackled by pat willis!!! fucking steelers are cheaters. thats a delay of game call.
At 9:22 the niners stopped the steelers on 3rd down by a knocked down pass that looked a little aggressive but the refs didnt call it until Omar Epps gave the ref the look that he wouldnt get paid unless he calls the penalty!!! fucking cheaters.

fuck man the refs screwed us bad in that game. the davis call was just absolute bullshit, ball never touches the ground yet its an incomplete pass. i like how the dumbass ref said he “barely” got two feet on the ground. ha wtf?? i saw when parker spiked the ball, big ben throws it away while IN the fuckin pocket, the holding call on nate clements, the whole game was bullshit. it would’ve been a much closer game had the refs called a fair game. Smith actually looked pretty good throwing the ball too.
