Tarell Brown Signs for 4

Another signing, another 4-year deal. Cornerback Tarell Brown, a fifth-round pick from Texas, signed a four-year contract today with the 49ers. He is the third of the 49ers’ nine draft picks to sign a contract. Linebacker Jay Moore and defensive tackle Joe Cohen signed four-year deals last week.

I honestly hope we don’t trade Kwame Harris, yes I just said that and yes I did cringe a lot last season because of his “dumb ass” plays. But a normal NFL lineman usually takes a few years to develop, and he atleast gives us more depth on th O-line at minimum. I cant see how the Kwame Harris Lowlight’s video can’t be a somewhat kind of motivation video for him. Hell you’ve got to know that every player in the league and his family and freinds saw it. He has been working out and working on his technique this whole offseason. I just think he will be coming out the gate like a monster, and no there is no real news about him and the 49ers have not really been talking about him at all. I think he may be another McNolan surprise for everybody next year. As for Tarell Brown, my thoughts are, he was a great pick up considering his draft position, we signed him for four years and we can easily send him off to NFL Europe to be his trial run, and we take little responsibility for anything he may do over there. All the while still owning him and just watching how he develops. This is just what I think is going on, you all can call me stupid too, I just can’t wait to see.
I thin Jason hill is going to be better then reggie wayne (i dont think he is as good as his stats any 2 WR would have good # if you had harrison across from you and Manning throwing you the ball. I think jason hill will just keep adding on muscle and will become a possession and a vertical threat. He is fast and will get stronger, and it looks like he has glue for hands.
I was thinking about the Justin Smiley “thing.” Larry Allen plans on retiring at the end of the year. What I think Nolan and company wants to do is wait to the end of the year to see if they really need to keep Smiley on board. If Larry Allen retires at the end of the year, I believe that Nolan will give Smiley a contract. If Smiley rejects it, Nolan should franchise tag him to get something out of Smiley. I think that Nolan likes Smiley as a person and as a player, but the price has to be in some reasonable range for the 49ers. What do you guys think?
As I have said before I am concerned about the DE position. I think the 49ers need to get a decent DE threw free agency or a trade (highly unlikely). The only person I can think of right now is Sam Rayburn. Also, I didn’t see many cuts from June 1. None from the Niners anyway. I know that the salary cap has given many teams a lot of slack with money this year, I assume there isn’t going to be as many free agents this year as there were in the past.
It’s time for some new news, we need some kind of 49ers rumor information because anytime we get over 100 post or near that means it’s time to post up something else and it seems like we get news around the nfl on other teams and even what they’re thinking about doing or signing but the niners it’s like we get news and then we don’t hear anything for a long period of time atleast let us know if they’re planing to schedualed any visists with some players or something we get a post,talk about it, and then start talking about something else after a while because the news we get has been up here way to long CAN WE GET SOME NEW INFORMATION PLEASE?

As long as Jason Hill dont end up like Stokes,Loyd, Woods or Hamilton.And I remember in Hills profile it said that he never had a consistant quarterback to throw to him at Washington State and he still had two, one thousand yard seasons.Imagine if Alex Smith had a breakout season.Darrell Jackson,Ashley lelie and J.Hill/a.battle/Brandon Williams competeing for the third,forth and fifth posion and Vernon Davis at tight end and Gore and Morris coming out of the backfield, we would be unstopable, if Alex Smith ever gets in a rytheme.
And did anyone else see N.F.L..Live Michael Smith on pretenders or contenders? He said that we dont have what it takes this year and that the Rams and Seahawks are the Contenders!I think Michael Smith needs an 49ers update along with that Bill Parsels butt buddy Keshewn Johnson…

Brandon Moore is the favorite to be San Francisco’s starting strong-side inside linebacker this season.
That means Patrick Willis and Derek Smith are competing to occupy the weak inside spot. Willis is already penciled into the nickel defense and seems likely to overtake Smith’s starting role before the start of the season.

Niners have alot of guys who are going to be F/A’s after this year. They also have a few bucks left to spend. I’m thinking they are going to make some deals for draft-picks and a maybe three or of four new players to fill the holes created by trading guys like Smiley or Harris. Don’t forget they got a few guys like Larry Allen and Moran Norris during the summer last year. Anyone have any ideas about which of our F/A’s will be going bye bye, and/or who will be comming aboard?

Micheal Smith thinks he’s a NFL anaylst he needs to take his ass back to Around The Horn and try to get in the finals as much as he can because I swear Tony Reali (if I spelled his name right) just gives Jay Marrioti (if I spelled his name right) points for just talking an he’s in the finals at least 2 times a week so dude needs to go back to Around The Horn and try to beat out Marrioti because that’s where he came from and belongs and stop trying to be a NFL analyst!

i think our divition will turnout with the 49ers wining the divition then the cards in second place,then the rams in third place,then seatle last.
heres a good question for you guys.who do you guys think will be our 3rd,4th and 5th wideouts in the beginning of the season?im hpoing it will be jason hill as our third,a. battle as the forth and williams as our fifth receiver.and gilmore as a reserve.but i dont know if we will use maxwell at all or he will be our practice squad player.
i think the recievers will be jackson, lelie, battle, hill, williams and if they keep six it will be maxwell because of hise size and speed. gilmore will probably be cut because we have two speedsters besides him so he is expendible. jacobs will probably be cut too, i dont think nolan will keep him over guys like hill and brandon williams that he drafted himself. he has no loyalty to outsiders and a lot of the previous regimes players. jacobs and glimore are the odd me out
I say that if there is enough money left over after we sign our picks that we go after Corey Simon….there are reports that he might be available for us.
Yo Ryan I would like to check that out can you tell me where that’s at so I can read it I would like to see him in a niners uniform but the question is can he stay healthy?
What do you guys think M. Robinson’s role will be this year. I think he can be a good trick play and special teams guy. Any thoughts?
