Jay Moore Signs

49ers fourth-round pick Jay Moore has agreed to a 4-year deal.

Moore is the first of the 49ers’ nine draft picks to sign on the dotted line.

Terms of his deal were not immediately known, but last year’s selection in the same spot, Cory Rodgers of the Packers, signed a four-year, $2.075 million deal.

thats cool!! but lets get willis/stanley signed.

  2. Shuttle Cock says:

Wow, that’s the only rookie we have inked huh? How do we compare to the rest of the legue in terms of signings? Is this early or late?

  3. 49ersNews says:

    SC…more from Maiocco:

Moore is back in town for the 49ers’ offseason workout program. The four-year contract is the longest deal a player selected after the first round can sign. Only a handful of draft picks around the league have already signed contracts. The Bears are leading the way, as they’ve signed five of their nine draft picks. Moore is the first of the 49ers’ nine draft picks to sign on the dotted line.

  4. Scottie G says:

Yeah the bears are working really hard. I have never heard of a team signing 5 picks before june before.

  5. Shuttle Cock says:

Yea, the Bears can do what they want, but until they kick Grossmans ass to the curb they won’t be back to any more super bowls.

  6. larry says:

ffffffffffuck the bears, lets worry about our own team instead of someone elses.hopefully they have some money left over to sign smiley.if some of you forgot that smiley in his second season really improved on the left side before allen came aboard.

  7. Bobby Boucher says:

There was a guy on here who used to post as Rex Grossman. He hasn’t posted in forever, and that’s too bad cause he was funny as hell. Talkin about Sexy Rexy throwin fuckin rocketballs all over the field, and using ribbed condoms inside out for his pleasure. Don’t think he’s posted since they lost the super bowl. I’m from Chicago, and all my friends are dumbass bear fans. He totally cost them the super bowl. If Dilfer was their quarterback, they could have won. Just like he won it for Baltimore. That’s one of the big improvements in Alex’s game, less costly mistakes. You don’t have to be the offense as quarterback, you just have to manage it well.

  8. jeff says:

    IT is STALEY not Stanley!

  9. Ryan the 1st says:

This is good because now we will start signing other players really soon. McNolan handles business that way.

  10. Shuttle Cock says:

So knowing Willis is going to be a sick ass LB, how long of a contract do we ink him to?

  11. SORRY SACK OF MARBALLS says:

i think willis will be a OK linebacker, not great but good!!i think many people look too much hype on the 40 yard dash time.

  12. R,Craig33 says:

I got the news last night when I came on here and it’s good to see the McNolan is not playing around and I know everybody want Willis and Staley and very body else signed but most of these early draft picks are waiting for the other to sign to determine what they’re entitled to get and rightfully so but it basically starts with Jemarcus Russle and what he will sign for and then everybody else will start signing.

Did anyone hear anything about Sam Adams and if McNolan have interest in him and who else McNolan might be interested in?

  13. pintor98 says:

Reports on Sirius Radio that Sam Adams was meeting with the Rams this afternoon.

  14. R,Craig33 says:

  25. Jimmy says:

    What position is Cohen?

  26. 49er#1fan says:

So with Smiley out of the picture, is Staley a solid starter on the O line some where.

  27. 49er#1fan says:

I can’t beleive Johnson retired. It seems to me he could have played a couple more years and been productive somewhere.

  28. Scottie G says:

Joe Cohen 310 lbs to 315 lbs so a NT or a DE considering the 49ers run the 3-4

  29. Ryan the 1st says:

It has begun…the niners are handling business so EVERYONE is signed and present for the beginning of training camp. I am rollin’ with McNolan. We are going to be a powerhouse as long as we stay hungry and not get too full of ourselves just because we look great on paper. That being said…we are going to dominate like KONG this season.

  30. TOPFLIGHT says:

NOT THAT DIS IS IMPORTANT..4 THA PEEPS WHO IS CURIOUS ABOUT WHERE ANTOINIO BRYANT IS AT…PLZ READ..

    GRUDEN DISCUSSES WR BRYANT
Just one day after free agent Antonio Bryant’s workout at One Buccaneer Place, Bucs head coach Jon Gruden discussed the possibility of his team signing the wide receiver.

According to Gruden, a signing is not imminent and “there’s no guarantee he’ll be a Buccaneer.”

“He just came in for an interview and a physical,” said Gruden. “We got a little insight into his situation. There’s some speculation out there right now, but he’s a good player and a talented player. He’s a young guy. We’re just looking at everybody’s situation much like every team in the league.”

  31. shuttle cock says:

im a huge cocksmoker with a perfect gag reflex!!!

  32. shuttle cock says:
