Jackson to 49ers
According to a league source, San Francisco and division rival Seattle are close to finalizing a trade that would send Seahawks wide receiver Darrell Jackson to the Niners in exchange for one of their fourth-rounders, believed to be the Niners’ third selection in the round, No. 124 overall.
The deal is contingent upon Jackson passing his physical, scheduled for Saturday at the Niners’ Santa Clara, Calif.
Upon further review however, Matt Maiocco is saying that the trade taking place is premature.

Darrell Jackson-WR- Seahawks Apr. 28 – 12:20 pm et
The 49ers and Seahawks have reportedly agreed to a trade that will send WR Darrell Jackson to San Franscisco in exchange for a fourth-round pick, according to the Washington Post’s Mark Maske.
The Niners are getting a lot of production for a cheap price; The Seahawks clearly don’t think much of Jackson to deal him within the division. He will immediately be San Francisco’s top receiver and a boon to Alex Smith, but his stats could suffer while playing for a worse offense.
Source: Washington Post …..move back into the 1st to try for Carriker and then get another WR in the 3rd!!
The NINERS get WILLIS!!!! GREAT PICK!!! WOOO HOOO!!!
Does anyone think we can end up getting Branch in the 20’s?
Maybe but it doesn’t look like any teams are wanting to trade. Figured there would be at least 2 trades by now and nothing. Teams are wanting too much and this draft is not very deep on 1st round talent.
We could and if he is available I would take him………that would be a STEAL AND A HALF. Plus, if this DJAX thing is true then we are going to be taking to the opposition. I have a feeling that we are going to move into the twenties and then use or remaining picks on o line and defensive depth…….maybe one receiver.
And as soon as I say that, Carolina and the Jets make a trade. LOL they must need a corner.
ure a stupid dumbaass
NinersRule, i think the jets might go for Quinn

Ryan the 1st, I read that article earlier today and I agree. His best argument was Nolan can change him. I do no think that Nolan wants to micro manage players. Are you fired up for the D. Jackson trade and the draft? Do you foresee any future trades for the Niners in the next two hours or so?
Danny said this on April 28th, 2007 at 7:52 am
IF we get DJAX I am going be stoked!!! I say we could wait out Jason Hill and see if he falls to third then.

Yeah, especially if they get Jackson there is no way that the Niners should touch Moss. He’s never been one for training or off-season stuff. There’s some question about maybe his half-stepping last year may be covering up that he’s lost a step. Don’t know, of course, and he could end up with another team and show he’s still got something, but I can’t see Nolan putting up with someone like Moss.
Bob In Pacifica said this on April 28th, 2007 at 8:12 am
yeah that looks like it wont happen. Nolan is that coach that really looks at a players attitude and moss has alot of it plus with darrell jackson here its a hard move.

I live in Seattle so I watch D-Jack all the time. He is the real deal. two things to watch: he is injury prone and also he goes through stretches where he drops alot of balls. When he is healthy and on he is very productive and in my opion this would be an absolute heist if the Niners pull this off.
Rich said this on April 28th, 2007 at 9:30 am
patrick willis is 1 pick away if the texans can just hold on to their pick hes ours.

Meachem and Boye are both off the board.
I thought we would trade up and grab one of them at this spot. Not sure if we need to move up now.
WE ARE MOVING UP!!! Maybe an Offensive tackle here???
Sure is!! Another good pick!!! Joe Staley!!
Wow. We gave up our 1st round pick next year to grab Staley. I’m not sure what to think of that??
Got it back wit trade…got colts 08 1st rd. pick…dont trip..Nolan got this
“This is an ongoing situation. Nothing’s happened. Tomorrow maybe, maybe not,” Seattle general manager Tim Ruskell told The Associated Press on Saturday night, many hours after Jackson had arrived at 49ers headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif., from his home in Florida for a physical — which he passed.
Nolan put the chances of a deal at “50-50, at best,” late Saturday night, according to the AP.
“We’re going to talk about it tonight, and Seattle has to come to grips with it, too,” Nolan said. “He was real excited to be here, and it sounded like he was making plans to be here. But it’s not up to him.”
ITS A DONE DEAL FOR SURE. THE PICK IS TRADED TO SEATTLE ALREADY
