Bryant and 49ers to Part Ways?
It seems that the 49ers and receiver Antonio Bryant may be parting ways. According to a league source.”The staff and players were upset that there was one set of rules for him and another set for everybody else,” the source said.
Nolan and Bryant met in Indianapolis during the combine last week. 49ers spokesman Aaron Sulkin [...]
Hostler named OC
Jim Hostler has been promoted to 49ers offensive coordinator, replacing Norv Turner, who left to become Chargers head coach two weeks ago.
Hostler, 40, spent the previous two seasons as 49ers quarterbacks coach, working closely with quarterback Alex Smith. He won the job after an impressive interview with coach Mike Nolan, who interviewed each of the [...]

An industry source tells us that Ravens linebacker Adalius Thomas already [...]
Sammy Davis Cut
The 49ers cut Sammy Davis today, freeing up 1 million in doing so. With the release of the Candy Man the 49ers are now approximately $38.2 million under the salary cap. Which doesn’t account for the contracts for Moran Norris and Bryant Young. Young’s deal should be finalized by Thursday.
Also the 49ers released cornerback Donald Strickland, [...]

A Gold Rush
I’m not sure about anyone else but this free agency period set to begin in under a week is like Christmas in March. This is a snippet from Adam Schefter and after reading it you have to love the possibilities the Niners have in front of them.
With the space, the 49ers believe they are going [...]
