Nolan to Not Leave Campo Hanging
Nolan on Tuesday said that he’ll let Dave Campo know by the end of Wednesday if he is offered the job for defensive coordinator.
“I could make a decision earlier than later,” Nolan said. “I don’t want to close the door on anything. I gave Jacksonville a window for him of tomorrow, but that’s not the window that I have.”
On the Turner to Cowboys talk, the Cowboys have not asked permission, but Nolan is already compiling a list of possible candidates to replace Turner should he leave, with Jerry Sullivan tops on the list. There are also rumors that the 49ers are believed to be working on a pay raise for Turner in hopes of taking him off the market.

Glad to see that the 49ers are concerned about keeping Turner and addressing the DC position with haste.
sounds like a happy marrage.
finally it took long enough
I hope they give Turner whatever he needs to fill his pockets so he will stay. Screw Dallas!! I don’t think Campo Is the right guy for the DC. If he’s going to be available, we need LeBeau, he’s the better fit for 3-4 DC.
KEEP NORV IN SAN FRAN!
Agreed.For Alex Smith alone.
It is good to hear that they are going to try and step up to this situation.
Seriously, why would Norv even be considering this? How many tries is it going to take the guy to figure out that he’s not cut out to be a head coach??
We need Norv!
if he leaves it’ll be our 3rd OC in 3 yrs, FUCK THAT! that cant be good for alex smith’s development
for alex smith and vernon davis alone
Its good
