I’m Innocent
Antonio Bryant pleaded innocent to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and resisting a police officer in connection with his arrest hours after playing against Seattle on Nov. 19.
San Mateo County’s chief deputy district attorney, said that the prosecutor reviewing the case decided against filing a drunken driving charge against Bryant because of insufficient evidence.
As far as Bryant’s four game suspension goes, the NFL is not allowed to comment on what he was suspended for, but a source said the sanctions had to do with his encounter with San Mateo police.

guilty or not he’s still suspended.
Why would the police make something like that up? All it is doing is making this more of a distraction to his team. Bryant, you’re rich enough…give it up, give up the cash, let it go, serve the suspension, shut up, and maybe we’ll see you next year. You’re doing the niners NO GOOD with what you’re pulling now. Think…why did they say you were beligerent and resisted arrest…over 100 MPH in a Lamborgini!!!
money changes everything!!!
You could not be MORE RIGHT!!!
How can they still suspend him for substance abuse if he isn’t charged with DUI? I am not saying he is a saint, but it cannot be substance abuse.
i havent heard anything on this situation all day on e.s.p.n.
so can he play now?
why would they say he cant play,if he is not guilty
Its true…the NFL went off a tad bit premature on this one since he hasn’t been convicted and that charge was dropped. So either the NFL was really wrong about punishing him (never would guess the NFL would ever mess something like that up..yeah right) or they aren’t telling us everything that happened that night and are keeping it under wraps.
i dont know!but someone needs to tell the truth
maybe seattle had something to do with it,wasnt he arested in seatle.
is he still getting charged for, resisting arrest?
He was arrested in San Mateo County, so let’s not make up some sort of conspiracy involving Seattle or even the Seahawks.
And yes, he is still charged of resisting to his arrest.
And true, the suspension probably can no longer be justified, but as we all know, the NFL stands above the law…
The suspension can’t be justified, but again, the NFL wants to play GOD and will NEVER admit that they are wrong about the situation.
Yes he is suspended by the NFL, but over the Summer he can work on timing patterns with Alex over the summer because they are not manditory nor official practices. And if the NFL was to try and step in, Norv Turner, Alex, Bryant and Battle can just go down to any field, High school or not and practice. Inorder to avoid any league penalties. It would be really nice if Stallworth showed up too. Just because they aren’t official of course. HMMM…. and who says there is no NFL conspiracy.
and since the nfl has been allowed to talk about, why he was suspended they havent said anything about it why he really was .its all b.s.
