Harris Defensive Player of November

San Francisco 49ers CB Walt Harris was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for November by the National Football League on Thursday.

Harris accounted for 19 tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble in the 49ers four games in November.

    If we don’t resign him then we are crazy. He, out of all our secondary has been the most consistent. I’m not talking like 8 years, but 3 or 4 wouldn’t be a stretch. That way he could teach our incoming rookie secondary this summer. Believe that we are going to get a few players for our secondary in the draft.

    Isnt he like 34 or something like that, i think he would be good for MAYBE two more years after this one. I think he is very smart and can share a ton but it only goes soo far. I wouldnt say 3 or 4.

    Walt Harris is 32 and under contract for another year, so we do not need to adress him until next summer at the earlist.

    My bad, I didn’t know that he was THAT old…yeah 2 does sound better now. I was under the impression that his contract was up at end of this season.
